It's all about who gets on the throttle first when the pickup has no weight on the rear wheels.
Fill the the bed of the dodge with gravel and try again.
Same Landy Vs another Dodge.
It know it looks rigged.. but I could swear on the third pull, the Ram had a front wheel spinning too.
It's a real shame that Rover never sent us the Diesels. I would love a diesel in my Disco

Dodge products came back downunder with the Neon, Grand Caravan and Jeeps, I was not aware of the Ram though.
It could be a personal import also.
They use Rams in the V8 Supercar series as course vehicles. Last time I was Down Under, I was trying to picture how I'd get a couple of race cars to the track. There simply isn't much towing that can't be done with a station wagon around there.
Call me crazy but i think it would have helped the Dodges to both HAVE and USE 4wd.
Or hell, how about a limited slip!
In reply to Vigo:
The one is for towing and the other is a brodozer.....I expect the first to be 2wd only and it wouldn't surprise me to see a lifted 2wd "rolling coal" with its stacks around here....
In the second video I posted, I could swear the ram was spinning a front tyre as it was pulled backwards.
As somebody posted in the comments. The Rams are for hauling stuff.. the Landy is going places ordinary vehicles can't go. That does make a big difference in traction and how power is put to the ground

You know what makes a bigger difference? 4wd...
(no, i dont think the dodge was spinning a front tire)

lol i havn't seen them called brodozers until today and i've seen that mentioned on 3 different sites within the past hour of reading the internet.
We used to do this. I remember a Tacoma dragging a at the time new 1500 with a hemi (the first year for the hemi in the 1500) so bad it broke one of the front CVs on the ram. As mentioned the first one to get moving wins. Looks like the cummins drivers suck at getting the drop.

I think it's one of those options you get with a bunch of other crap. Mine has an open rear diff. If I get into a situation where I'm getting one tire fire and I can't drive around it, I hit the 4WD button.
In reply to Keith Tanner:
Yea, but lsd and the e lockers sometimes keep you from having to do that. Not a bad option on the fords either.
