I assume so. My mail carrier sux. Never get anything when I'm supposed to. What can I do?
Got mine on Friday, right after reading this post
I really enjoyed the Sentra article.
Edit: Live in East Tennessee
I skimmed the online edition - it does seem to take a significant amount of time for the latest issue to show up here in the sticks.
Haven't seen mine yet.
Then again, with them giving it away for free online, I suppose that the T-shirt was what I actually paid for.

What happened? I thought that was kind of a permanent thing.

Mine came Saturday, and I too (of course) enjoyed the Sentra article.

Don't blame the mail carrier. They deliver everything the same day that it is given to them by the post office. Blame the sorting facilities for not getting the flats (what we call magazines and catalogs) to the local post offices in a timely fashion. The only way a carrier would not deliver it on the same day that they got your magazine would be if it was sorted wrong-went to 927 Painter avenue instead of 927 Jefferson street. It happens and is resorted and redelivered the very next day.
I am a USPS delivery supervisor and my copy arrived this morning via my local carrier. She also brought me a nice set of Recaro seats too.
Maybe GRM are going to buck the trend in publishing and have the May issue arrive near May. (I've always thought that seemed reasonable)

With the advent of their digital version of Speed News, NASA changed their membership benefits to no longer include GRM, so the last issue to NASA members was the April. If you had a subscription before your NASA membership, however, you may still have issues left to serve out on it. Give our circ people a call at 877-677-6878 to check your status. We also have a sweet offer going for NASA folk who used to get us as part of their membership, so be sure to ask about that.
The May issue mailed to subscribers on March 28.

Not entirely true. The carriers usually have a "JUNK MAIL" day that they deliver the adverts and magazines. I've had numerous carriers as customers and we've discussed this at length. It makes their days go a lot better that way.
Depending on the office, there may be two or more of these "door to door" flyers (usually Pennysavers and Redplum coupon/grocery ads). They go on their scheduled days no matter what. Like I said, magazines go when they come into the office, otherwise it would be delay of mail which is not permitted. Catalogs and other bulk mail can be delayed, it depends on what days are specified on them for home delivery.
But, like I've said, magazines cannot be delayed. Not that it doesn't happen every once in a while when volumes are really high but right now is a slow time of the year for USPS.
