I initially read black windows but then saw widows and was like hell no. But for 300$ it is a good buy indeed.

Meh, it's a big, old Benz. I drove a similar vintage one once. Really did nothing for me. Don't really like those big ass bumpers either. YMMV.
I also thought it said "back windows".
I deal with black widows all the time, wear gloves and you'll be fine unless decides to get out of Dodge and jump on your eye behind your glasses. That's not fun and will most likely require sedatives.
Hoping to pick it up this week sometime. Anyone know a good source on euro w116 headlights? and some corner lenses?
By the time it got home it was getting dark. And it wont be in the garage until its cleaned up and vacuumed. The PO did vacuum it though. I can tell that much.
Car definitely has driveway presence though. Neighbors already came over asking about it.
I was hospitalized for three days from what doctors believed to be a black widow bite. I was so weak I couldn't even turn the ignition key to start the truck to get to the hospital. I DO NOT LIKE BLACK WIDOWS! That being said I would have bought that car. You did good
We have a trip to CA at months end. If you want to get rid of it, Ill pay you what you got in it plus 10% ;).
I hope that I'm not going to be a BW victum.
To do:
-I'll be replacing the VCG and doing a full tune up tomorrow I hope. Damn plug wires are about $100
-Gotta figure out how to get the HVAC to work (if it even works).
-Fluids
-Headlights
-Some decent OEM wheels with tires
-Interior needs a once over and probably new seats.
Thinkkker, thats a cool offer but no thanks haha :)
so I figured I'd pull the car in the garage and look for rust and clean all this dust out the interior.
Pulled her into the garage:
Removed the horrible dog fur seat covers and mexican blankets:
Been wondering where all the coolant went. Was hoping this would be a painless go around but there's tons of E36 M3 attached to the radiator:
Started looking for rust. Found none but the back seats are as good as done:
Cleaned her out and did some light weight mods. Really though I hate messed up interior so I'll be looking for some good w116 seats if they exist:
Will re-engage the rear another day:
Next up I'll be taking care of this dirty E36 M3 under here:
I would look and see if you could find seat from a newer s class. the cars have gotten cheap enough there should be some in the jy.
Wow, I have never seen MB Tex do that! I am super envious of your car, regardless of the backseat kerfuffle.

Agreed. That could be the optional leather, I guess.
Perfect interiors show up often enough. I even saw a perfect brown cloth interior that sat there until it got trashed by people who just rip things apart rather than taking what they need and leaving the rest in useable condition.
