They do, unequivocally, without a doubt, look best in black.

The fact that it's a NE car that I can't touch and lick before purchasing would be the main issue there.

Ask if it was driven in winter and then get chassis pics of the car on the lift before thinking about a plane ride.

There's like how many people here on GRM? Find a close one and have him go lick it.

It checks all the boxes (aside from "be right down the road.") I might do that...or I might hold out for a local car.

Fly and drive is not bad, if the buyer is willing to cooperate. I flew down to Dallas (from Harrisburg, PA) to buy my truck, but the seller worked at a dealer so he was able to send a driver to pick me up at th airport, took pictures on a lift, sent videos of it running/driving.

The one-way ticket was $130, and a return ticket was $200 if I didn't like what I saw when I got there. Was worth the trip for me when the truck was $7-8000 less than anything else I found locally, and didn't have a spot of rust anywhere to be found.

Use the GRM community, I'm sure someone is local that could go look at it and give you a report if you want some more info before you take the trip.

I might do that, and I have no problem paying someone for their time. Right now I'm on 6 days a week with a toddler and another one on the way. Wishing someone would plop one in my lap and I could just throw money at them.

I've got weekends free if you need someone to "fly and drive" for you.

I'd need travel expenses because I'm poor, but my time is free!

Betcha I can! Saw a black V2 at the gun range this weekend and nearly ripped my pants. Gotta be black on black.

I'm in no huge hurry to buy. Some time before the end of the year would be nice.

Not sure where this car is located, but saw it here: http://www.norotors.com/index.php?topic=17923.0

I have for sale my 2004 Cadillac CTS-V. The car runs perfectly and has been meticulously maintained. As most of you know this is a cadillac with a corvette powerplant straight from GM. It has the corvette Z06 LS6 engine 5.7l V8 and is mated to a T56 6-spd transmission. The car makes 400hp and 400tq from the factory.

I am selling as I have a bike and 2 cars and would like to get a project car for the winter and this would free up some money to allow me to build something. I drive the car 4 times a week give or take and it has been nothing but great to me. I would not hesitate to drive this anywhere and it is an amazingly built automobile. Oil always changed at 3,000 miles with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic

Trades: I am definitely open to trades looking mostly at swapped FD's and swapped s2000's. I can also throw a little cash on top or you can throw cash on top I have title in hand car is paid off so there are no issues there.

Dealer Options - Heated Front Leather and Suede seats - Full Bose system with subwoofer in decklid - Navigation (Updated to 2012 maps) - Sliding Sunroof

Things I have fixed or addressed - Custom Short Shifter with weighted steel knob. - Lingenfelter Intake - Muffler Delete (still have stock exhaust that will bolt right up) - Race Engineering Catch Can (A must on LS motors) - Second set of 20" Wheels - The motor mounts, differential bushing, transmission mount, and all cradle bushings have been upgraded with parts from RevShift (These are the best mounts to date and fix much of the issues associated with the soft suspension and the wheelhop) - Cags Skip Shift Delete - Tinted rear and side windows - Generation IV differential was installed as well (Stronger differential the early differentials were weak) - Full Ceramic pads and slotted/drilled rotors - Also replaced the battery last year.

Price $16,500
