You won't be able to talk me out them. On my 3rd RX7.
Ooooh, it's an '87, which is the best-looking ones. I always wanted to build an '87 Turbo Coupe with a quiet turbo 302 hidden under the hood.

And Alfas. That worked about as well as talking people out of rotaries.
<thinks>
Maybe the Turbo Coupe needs a rotary swap?
My dad had a beat to crap cosmetically 86 TC when I got out of the Army in 95. My wife and I only had one car at the time, a 90 Celica, and it needed tie rods if I remember correctly. My dad let me use that car for a week while our car was getting fixed and it got me hooked on turbos. Never owned one myself but being the first forced induction car I had ever driven I have a soft spot for them.

I owned 3 3rd gen f-bodies and like 5 2nd gen Rams in the space of 2 years without trying very hard, so It's definitely possible.
When you have 5 of them parked in a row in a busy street they start coming to you...
What kind of person would buy more than one Thunderbird?
I, for one, would never condone such a thing.
Javelin said:Backstory is from 2001-2007 I was hardcore into Turbo Fords, specifically the Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. I've owned over 50 of them (no lie) and even had a decent garage business making parts for them that I sold to a guy in Connecticut.
There's an 87 TC for sale that's an auto-to-T5 manual swap (so still has 3.73 rear end) with a T3, 3" exhaust, and other mods with power sunroof (which I love) for $1850...
I don't need another car. I don't need another car. I don't need another car. I don't need another car. I don't need another car. I don't need another car. I don't need another car. I don't need another car.
I’ve owned many cars. There are only a few I regret parting with, one of which was my 85 SVO. The turbo 2.3 is a mystery. You can throw more abuse at one than about any engine I’ve seen. They are tough as can be and can be serious monsters when the combo is right. turboford.org.... your new rabbit hole.
It's currenty Snowmaggedoning out there so buddy has not made it to the car. Luckily, no one else has either.

local to me. Are these really worth this much?
In reply to rustybugkiller :
Generally not... but that’s the nicest one I’ve seen in the last 25+ years.
Oh snap. Time for alllllll the boost.
Did they do something to the wheels? They look kinda rough to me.
