he's still ticked off about the sheer numbers that were built and killed any chance of these being worth anything in our lifetime.
Not sure what you mean. 20+k is up to 3 times what a decent 4.6 GT could cost. If doubling the horsepower triples the value then my turbo caravan with triple its original power is now worth..
.....$2741!!!
Sometimes, things happen.
Case in point, you have a race car. Its a good race car Its a fun race car. You enjoy this race car. Then, race car goes silent *I would say boom, but its more fitting*.
Being that I was helping to please the wife, this also helped allow this car be a little more capable. So, since TX Tour is this weekend GT500 gets pressed into action. Backup plan was CAM-C, but when I arrived at buddies to swap tires so they wore better he started a plan. I say he, since he is running a RX7 in XP and was trying to hit numbers. I made the comment that if I had race tires, I would have no issues.
Some used 315's and 345's later, the car will sit on some Purple Crack. I also like that these are 100 total mm wider than what the AS Z06 ran on.

i'm confident that every one of those shiny happy people hits the TCS OFF button before becoming an internet sensation.
Well, if I wouldnt have hit cones on day 1, I would have a free hoosier coming my way. I tried to get the times down on Day 2, but was .4 off of doing it. Such is life.
I do think the car was the heaviest at the event. 3839# Day one, 3815# Day 2. It burns a gallon of fuel every 2 runs.

That's awesome.
Dinosaur recycling. At its best!!!!
Also, the exhaust is too quiet. I was told I was on the rev limiter *not sure if from spinning tires or what? 2nd tops out at 80mph* and I never heard it.
