Has anyone here ever used this product in a work application or auto related project. It is supposed to be a very tough, anti corrosion paint infused with stainless steel particles. Supposedly used for off road race/rally vehicles. Website https://www.steel-it.com/

I looked at it closely for painting the rear axle in my '69 Cougar but cost compared to powder coating didn't work out.
Indy Guy (Brian) uses it where he works and speaks highly of it.

Yes, we use it quite frequently as wawazat indicated. We use it for painting new industrial (automation) equipment. It holds up very well for our customers. I assume that it would also work well in an automotive environment.
Edit: I just clicked on that web-site. Note we use the Epoxy type system.

Yes, we have a real paint booth with exhaust fans etc. and we employ a full time painter. I can ask him any specific question you like tomorrow when I'm back at work.

Couple questions. How does Steel It spray? Do you use a primer? Have you used the non expoxy version? Does the dried paint touch up easily or end up being different from surrounding area? Thanks.
