Last year I went up US441 from Jacksonville to Athens and stopped at Bruce Weiner Microcar Museum in Madison Ga. I would recommend visiting.
We've gone up that way to the Mitty in the past and, you're right, it's a nice drive. Since my drive back started in metro Atlanta, I figured I'd freestyle it this time.
