I posted this in the unicorn thread but maybe it better fits here: 1969 AMC Rambler parked in front of the pet store.
While entering the store, a woman carrying a tiny dog walked up to me: Is this the pet store?
Um, ma'am, it's literally in the name on the door....
(Actually, I just held the door for her, nodded and smiled.)

If you have read the book "Insane City" you would ask before entering....
I remember the first time I saw HID headlights was on one of these. The tail lights were also unlike anything I'd seen before, you could not tell where the bulb was.
I can't remember if I shared this one. It's from when I drove the BMW i4 down to Miami. I shot this while refueling in West Palm Beach.
While the Miata was parked outside the garage.
And here's me gassing up.

I think the TRD Celica parked far back is more of a rare sight than the TypeR these days around here.
Someone DD's this across town from me.
Probably should look into some new rear tires. I give him credit for the even wear though.
First time I've noticed one of these.

Mexican plates? They're not sold here, it's a rebranded Fiat Strada. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Strada
No better pics as I was driving and sunlight combined with dirty windows made it next to impossible, but I spotted this:
Cropped:
Which is immaculate but then I got to watch the driver do three unsignalled lane changes in less than a quarter mile, one of which would have been directly into the side of another car had the other driver not reacted and pulled away from him. No doubt in my mind it would have totaled that beautiful little car. What is it? Looked far too nice to be an MG but it was clearly British. Not a Jag that I recall.
Edit: Looking at Wikipedia now: MG TF?
This used to be my favorite, I bought every single one I found like this
Beyond the picture I had zero interest now though haha
Saw this little guy parked across from our paddock at Sebring over the weekend. The want is strong!!!

I remember doing a timing belt on one of those back in the late 90s. I was working at a Precision Tune, the car came running on two cylinders. It had two timing belts, one for each side of the engine.

Did you ask him to buy the hardtop?

Very odd.
Usually the left side belt failed first, as it had the oil pump load too. Subaru wisely put the distributor on that side.
The pictured one may be old enough to have an OHV engine. As a rule of thumb, if it had torsion bars, it had the amazingly similar to an ACVW pushrod engine.
