and we're talking about going. At least David is.

There are other staff members talking about attending too. I wonder how a Mazda2 with full-strength competition-grade Rally tires would stack up?
...probably still slow, but I don't think I can fight the urge to mount the leftover tires from the Neon project on Miata wheels and do it anyway. Pics to come.

I'm going to see if David allows a bootie call in the Impreza.
I want to know how a Mazda2 with a 2.0 Sky engine swap would do. Come on, Tom, engine swap! Engine Swap! You'll even get more MPGs out of the deal.
I believe there is a Ozark Mountain Rally coming up. Wink wink hint hint nudge nudge.
I bet the 2 would do better than you'd think. Traction is limited in rallycross, so high horsepower is much less of an advantage. With rally tires, you'll do well.
Short wheelbase, narrow car. Sounds like a perfect rallycrosser if the course is somewhat tight. We used to be able to drive straight through slaloms in my 1st gen CRX.
