Just renewed for two years, and donated via PayPal.
Good luck to the GRM staff, and everyone out there.

Annnnnd also #31 ... You guys mean the world to me..
Mazdeuce once said to me
"Do Rad things...... and Rad things will happen to you."
You guys do Rad things and we will all support you until the world actually ends.
It's not impossible, We just haven't figured out how to do it yet.
WELL SAID!
Mark me down as forum supporter #35! That's a pretty awesome idea. I have no idea which email address will wind up showing up in there, though. I can tell you that it'll be the only one from @putrescence.org, though!
Tom, how about a contribute button on the main page and a contribute specific thread? A lot of people will miss the opportunity if it's just on this thread.
a few years supply of teeshirts ordered.
Gonna call later about subscripton.
You guys ever consider doing a kids size shirt?
I'll borrow a suggestion for the Gastropod T-Shirts thread--what about a GRM shirt with our Avatar name and "GRM Forum Supporter:" or "GRM Patron" on the back? Make one production run, maybe? Limited Edition Buy it Now? Perhaps do one run of shirts in a different color/artwork per year until things are back to "normal"?

This.
Ive been on this forum for 16 years, and would be happy to donate.
However, right now I'm trying to survive. I read the first few posts on page 1, and the last couple on this page. I really don't have time to dig through this entire thread to figure out how to donate.
Please make it more obvious. Or feel free to use my email address (and others') to solicit directly.
In reply to SVreX :
Don't worry, we'll make the donate button more prominent soon. Just making sure there aren't any issues we didn't see coming before taking too many people's money.
I don't log in for a day and miss this. :)
Always happy to help you guys. It's the greatest community on the net. So I got the latest t-shirt and made a monthly contribution.
Till we can see each other on the track......
Mike

For now, it will just update your username to include "(Forum Supporter)", but assuming it gains some traction I'll toss some money to our developers and have a fancy gold badge or something applied to your posts.
You can sign up to be a forum supporter here, and I'll update your profile as soon as possible once the order is complete.

Hopefully this opens the door to allowing us to do more cool stuff like this in the future; let me know what you think, everybody.
Tom:
Can you add the ability to do a one-time gift if an undefined amount?
I'm trying to give you a lot more money. $3 is not enough.
I'd also like to do it as a one time gift, not a monthly repeat. Financial matters are too scary right now to commit to repeating amounts.

I thought the same thing, I was expecting $5 or $10 a month, at least. I think you could probably use the PayPal link they put up on the first page to do a one-time.

Why is it I see you hunched over a table with a sharpie, tongue sticking out trying to fill in a name on a tote bag?
What's a "feedback rebate?" I don't need no stinkin' Feedback Rebate. How can I donate that to GRM? Why can't you just keep it?
I'm pretty new here, but even still the value of this community is apparent.
Bought a shirt and joined the patreon. It's just a fraction of what I spend on this hobby. Here's to hoping we can all get through this together.

Amen to that, brother !

Many thanks! I will transcribe it as I also prefer recipe cards.
My wife hasn't been down to Gainesville in 10 years; I should make her come this year (if it all happens) so she can chat you up for more!
I'm pretty much a one-trick pony on baking... just fiddled my white bread til it was absolutely reliable. I'm gonna start working on whole wheat, though.
Now, non-baking? I can talk recipes all day.

I couldn't love GRM the magazine or the website more, and believe me, I don't like to be the P.C police or anything or the guy who has a problem with everything thing, but I do have a problem with this... I find it a bit offensive that you use terms like “pandemic" and "economy" for your little descriptions or whatever in the discussions. I myself do not make cultural references, but I feel sensitivity for people who do, as I am a student living among them, and my Girlfriend is pursuing her masters in the field.
These terms although I'm pretty sure are not even real words, are obviously meant to resemble the words used to describe people who spend a disproportionate amount of time posting on message boards, and it appears that they are used on these boards in a joking sense which, as I view it, makes light of people who spend a lot of time here.
Resubscribed, despite having a small pile of mags that I still haven't found time to read.

Oh crap did I leave my webcam on?
since i'm working from home, and for as long as i'm working from home, GRM gets a cut of my saved gas $. this forum has been family to me for about 20 years now, and i'm a better husband / father / plumber / welder / electrician / budgeter / etc because of you all.
questions:
1. for those of you who posted your "supporter number", where did you get that info?
2. i didn't see the instruction to sign up for Patreon with the same email as the forum until after i completed the sign-up process, so i went back and changed the email in my Patreon profile to match my forum email. will i still get the (Forum Supporter) designation?
You'll need to log in to post.
