I couldn't love GRM the magazine or the website more, and believe me, I don't like to be the P.C police or anything or the guy who has a problem with everything thing, but I do have a problem with this...

I find it a bit offensive that you use terms like “Forum supporter"....

too soon?

I love you for this.  I could not find a copy of this anywhere.  That was an awesome thread.  Thank you for bringing that memory back up for me and others who were there.

Ill toss my samoliens into the collection plate next.  Just gotta get the last kid to bed.

A bit late, but I'm in.  If I can pay $5/month for PBS access, I can pay $3/month for equal or better education.

In reply to AngryCorvair :

When I followed the Patreon link, it said I would be number 25 of 50. I don't recall if it designated my number after I signed up.

That's me. Middle of the pack, just like my autocross skills. Totally appropriate.

I feel petty for asking, how do I get the contributor designation?

Thanks for everything that all of you do to create this content, and to host us loonies!  I've learned so much from this community, and I've enjoyed being virtually connected for a long, long time.

I like the donation based forum supporter idea.  To promote it, maybe try to incorporate a forum topper or something as part of a static link that shows up for anyone that visits the forum... kind of like the "Buy a Subscription" red button at the top of the browser window?

I'm a print subscriber, and after moving and renewing I'm now actually receiving 2 copies a month to my house... ha.  I also have found the discussion and perspectives provided here to be refreshing and productive regardless of category of discussion.  I'm terrible at finishing my own automotive projects, but this place provides some hope, sanity, and direction through the chaos of life and I'd be happy to support as well.

Can we get a 10 yr subscription option?

Can you make paypal a payment option pleeeeease? (on conference calls all day tied to my laptop and can't get up to get my wallet....)

Thanks everyone. I think this will help.

Margie and I voluntarily reduced our already conservative salaries, in anticipation of what the next few months will bring.

Thankfully, she has been fiscally smart and we are not rolling around in new Porsches (ok, maybe an old Porsche and an even older BMW) but she has been smart and saved some for a rainy day.

Every business is advised to have 3-6 months back up money. How many do? We will soon find out.

Personally, while I can't sell much right now, I am writing and posting more than I have in years and I should have every project car done in just a few weeks.

You guys are unbelievably amazing. I feel like I should be hand-printing tote bags for everyone.

Why is it I see you hunched over a table with a sharpie, tongue sticking out trying to fill in a name on a tote bag?

Oh crap did I leave my webcam on?

No... I've just seen you enough in real life I can see it in my head clear as day.

Hey, just called and did 10 years on each at $100 per.  They throw in a shirt or a hat when you do that.

Sweet deal, I spend close to that on one year of Racecar Engineering.

Now to break it to my wife that one of her easy button birthday/christmas items for me is off the list for the next decade, lol.

For those who are signing up for Paetron with a different e-mail than you use on the forum (or aren't sure if the email is the same) there is a notes field when you complete your Paetron contribution. Entering your username there might make it easier for Tom to link your Forum Supporter title.
