Help me find a tie rod sleeve with right hand threads on both ends, 11/16 fine thread.

I'm stuck.

Tuna, don't look for a "tie rod sleeve" because they don't exist in that configuaration, look for a hex rod with a 11/16" female thread and 2 jamb nuts; or make your own from hex stock.

I have looked but have not found anything with fine thread, and would rather not buy a tap for this purpose alone.

I'm not using it for a tie-rod sleeve, exactly. It could be made of anything rigid-ish.

You won't find one. The point of a tie rod sleeve is to lengthen and shorten stuff, so you need another description.

Piece of tube with nuts welded on both ends? How long does it need to be?

OK how about two of these

and some 1" I.D. tubing.

Or just let one of us GRMers with a lathe know overall length and desired diameter if'n you felt like waiting a week for it to arrive

Length? Just an inch or so. Can't find any fine pitch nuts this size otherwise I would just weld two together

The bung Jumper listed above is 1.75" long. Should be plenty long enough yes?
