The other day I saw a Mini (the Issigonis version) in the bed of a full size Ford pickup. 
seen a H600 honda in a truck like that once (think old honda that looks like a Mini)
That's a very early Crosley.
Apparently it's possible to do with the later versions also:
Somebody had once (some time ago) posted a old pic of Pete Lovely's Lotus 49 in the bed of a VW pickup...
If I raced a Vee it would definitely be in the back of a Type II pickup...
