I'd rather just bring good beer then cheap beer cause Alabama has a number of good beers but none of it is under 6 for $6.
The cheap beer doesn't have to come from your state (unless you want it to). While FL has plenty of micro's I doubt any of them have a 6 under $6. However, there is a lot out there that is.
Any of you have a Total Wine close by? Check their online list and you will find a good variety like this.

Good. 'Gansett comes from Rhode Island (by way of New York) but it still rules.
I have a bad feeling I'm going to have a hangover all weekend...

At least it's a little cooler in November. That's going to be a looong day hanging out in a parking lot Saturday if/when hungover.
There's a good ABC on the north side of town. You're a sucker if you sleep on Swamp Head. Buy $100 worth of that E36 M3 if you're a beer snob. They have a couple GNARLY Impy IPA's. The last one I had (can't remember what it's called) was over 10%(?) and I'd have classified it more of a barleywine than an IPA. I think they actually have a bourbon barrel aged IPA as well. Also saw a LOT of E36 M3 at that ABC that I can't find in GA. I bought ALL the DFH Burton Baton.
Poopie is spot on re Swamphead. Those guys are crushing it, thanks to some great beer. You can visit their tasting room while in town:

And they just released a new IPA that is probably going to be great.
Gainesville Green, our Fresh Hop Ale, will be released simultaneously with a price tag of $12/bottle and a limit of one case per person. Gainesville Green shirts will also be available for purchase for the price of $20.

Slicks?
Oh come on now, i'm not trying to leave my axles and transmission in a pile of trash 1000 miles from home, you know.
I am fully expecting a call on Saturday morning asking me to come get it with the truck/trailer.
I'll flat tow a broken MX6 back home with an MX6 before i have to listen to 14 hours of you cackling over a blown up MX6.
Nah, I wouldn't do that until we got it home. Knowing my luck MY E36 M3 would break down on the way home. lol
Besides, it would only be 12 hours.

Well, it'd be nice if we weren't the only guys who brought multiple cases of beer to the berkeleying party for once. Moochin' ass motherberkeleyers. Whatever you do, don't clean up after yourselves either. The beer cans will magically berkeleying disappear at 4AM.
This is what i brought to MATG.
I like you guys a lot more than that, so....
I will probably have a good stock of Mad Anthony's from Ft Wayne, again.
So are spectators allowed to attend the awards banquet?

I don't drink if I can't drink my own. READ- if I don't have none to share, I'm not partaking. That's how I roll.

Yeah, it's the good stuff. If I need a drinkin' beer, and not a tastin' beer- it's my go to.

I am still on the fence about making it down this year but am leaning towards yes; somehow...
I do have a lot of work to do this weekend on the e30:
Hopefully by monday the high compression head with a high lift cam will be installed and advanced properly.
I also need to review my collection of valve covers; I think a 4 cyl twin cam would work well but a straight 6 has some appeal too.
And I need to think about the important part, BEER. Good beer is easy, this area has some outstanding breweries. E36 M3 beer I know nothing about. Of course, being from Philly, there will be plenty of yuengling coming with me if I make it.
