If you guys are going to be out here for SEMA you must get Hawaii food. Las Vegas is known as the 9th island as we have 60,000 islanders here. We have some ono grindz (tasty food). There is a place right by the airport called 2 Scoops of Aloha.

Did you ever go to Braddah's? My wife lived in Vegas for a while before we met (not what you're thinking, tech startup related, get your mind out of the gutter) and she's told me several times how good that place was...before it was permanently closed for health code violations.

No my wife has Lupus......no places with less than an A grade.

We typically go to Island Flavor on Durango; it's cross town but worth the drive.

We are also blessed with some kamaainas who autocross; they have a friend who makes bento box lunches, she takes our orders then delivers them to us at the event.

I'm a junkie for Bento Box lunch; on school field trips in Hawaii you always got a bento box lunch.

Wait a minute... let's talk about #8: the Lobster Roll. The lobster is usually served on a grilled and buttered hot dog roll. If this is a sandwich, would that also mean that a hot dog on a roll is also a sandwich?

That's probably what brought Facebook down; someone probably asked some AI interface if a hot dog is a sandwich.

I think "hot dog" more refers to strange combination of typically unused parts in tubular meat form vs the shape of the bread it's in.

In reply to Tony Sestito :

I'm not saying that a hotdog isn't a sandwich, just that it's not on this list. (But if a gyro made the list, I'd think that a hotdog could.)

Also, I need to rank that list. It might be like picking a favorite child, though.

Mmmmm hot dogs.  When people get uppity about what's in them I typically have the same reaction I did when I found out Soylent Green was made of people.............pass the mustard.
