test drove the duster. for 200 miles.
then stripped the 64 elcamino of trim and interior, and dropped it at the body shop.
also picked up my msp brakes for the p5 brake job tomorrow.

I'm not sure, but I'm pretty unhappy about it.
if it quits raining I'll get something done, if not, football and becoming one with the couch will be acceptable.
scavenging saturn calipers for jensen and we order parts for ship monday . 45ish daze until challenge . Sunbeam need some tightning up seat belts graphics , air filter . Jensen needs major thrashing .
Spent 4hrs slowly, carefully cutting an old bathroom fixture from under a sink without damaging anything else. So... another one of those 1hr jobs that took half the damn day.
Will probably be doing a gear swap on my brothers truck while my project sits neglected and alone while we work beside her in shop.
Yesterday it was finishing the garage attic floor and getting four of the six frames for fluorescents done.
Today there's band practice and the Oregon handmade bicycle show, so we'll see whether the light mounts are finished or the first ceremonial fiberglass insulation gets installed...
Aussie sending thoughts and prayers your way. Hope everything goes well. Tiled the kitchen this weekend
planned it's next phase while watching kids play pointless games involving plastic armor and balls shaped like something other than a ball.
Finally got the wiring put into the boat project. Just need to get a battery and I can see if it'll live again.
Replaced headlight.
Didn't fix the lack of light, yay wiring issues.
(high beam works, narrows things down a bit)
Began temporary bench seat repair, duct tape style.
hashtag redneck?
Hit a small snag getting the Fiat Challenge car to the shop, so that will wait for a few days.
Which was good, because I was able to spend a couple hours at the shop getting my work-area organized a bit better before the car gets here.
During this process, I used my primary project-car as a shelf.
Just completed timing belt, water pump & balance shaft belt on my 944. Tomorrow I tackle the window on my old Lincoln (vent window fell down into the door)
BS'd with my brother while the little woman went nuts with an impact and completely disassembled a C6 transmission by her self...
It was a time for the ages and a moment of glory for me.
I'm always a day behind posting these: clipped all the roofing nails sticking through into the garage attic (semi-officially concluding the "attic" part of the garage project), and finished the frames for mounting the fluorescent lights.
With that, it's time for insulation and drywall.
bought, transported, and repaired a new to me riding mower. changed oil and skunked gas, fixed massive oil leak, and changed to a good battery. then made a victory lap around the yard.
the thing cuts nice, and was an easy project for a change.
tomorrows project: mow the grass, round up the driveway, and prepare for the gravel truck.
I put the pertronix ignitor into my MGA which solved the no/weak spark issue I've been fighting for 2 weeks now.
Took a pneumatic 1/4 in cut off and made the ruined Phillips screws holding my headlight assbly together flat heads and found some rust I'll be fixing. Glad I didn't just tape them off and paint around it like the last guy that painted it.
I washed my truck in the rain. I needed a shower anyways and the offending dirt left from some front yard donut shenanigans struck a nerve today.
