What mates to a T3 Dodge Turbo?

For some reason I thought the pre 98 passat were like the Fox, I was wrong.

Does anyone have access to a 1998 later Passat transmission for measurement? All the ones we have out right now are 4motion/quattro.

If I can finally kill the Fox this weekend, It's got a 5 speed from an '87 Audi 4000 that you can have cheap. BTW, the BA/BE Fox is going to it's THIRD demolition derby this sunday. I cannot kill this berkeleyer.

I've got one on the shelf and a tape measure on my desk. What measurements do you need?

Bellhousing to tail/rear most depth.

Flange to flange width.

Looks like the total length is approximately 23.5" and it's width is about 10.75" outside of flange to outside of flange.

And the depth from bellhousing to the C/L of the flange should be about 7".

I got about 6.5" from the edge of the bell housing to the center of the axle flange.
