I have a good condition 2003 1ZZ-FED (from the 2003 Spyder that I parted out) with about 93k miles on it sitting on the ground ready to go into my 2001 MR2 Spyder. I'm thinking about replacing the clutch while it's out because with 93k miles on it, it's probably not perfect. I'm planning on replacing any seals that are obviously leaking. Is there anything else I should consider replacing while it's out? There's not a lot of service that is easy to do on the Spyder with the motor in the car, so doing it now is best if it should be done at this mileage. It's a timing chain engine - should I replace the timing chain tensioner? Anything else you guys can think of that would be a good idea??

Water pump (seal might've dried up from sitting), valve cover gasket (is there a dohc motor out there that doesn't have leaking problems here?), Hard to access but mostly cheap tune up parts like spark plugs, belt tensioners and idlers, etc.

Also, I bet there is a pretty serious 100k service called for in the manual. Do that!
Thermostat! They dry up too.
Moroso baffled oil pan to prevent oil starvation whilst pulling mad g's.Wow! sticker shock. 5 bliis. Edit:Bills, 5 bills.
Ive got a pretty fresh act hdss combo with a stock resurfaced flywheel that I don't need cause 2zzge swap doesn't use the same clutch/flywheel (went with a Monkeywrench racing billet cromoly/xt/ss combo on the zz swap. Ya think $200 is fair?
Clutch for sure, thermostat, and maybe the serpentine belt.
I finally placed my order for this stuff, except a guy I had sold parts to locally had a new Exedy ST1 clutch that he sold me for $100. I completely spaced on the serpentine belt tensioner. Looks like the belt tensioner is kind of spendy - $75 or so - making me pause.
I wanted to do the motor mounts, but they appear to only be available from Toyota and they're pretty pricey. It ends up being close to $350 for all four mounts. I can replace them later if needed, it's not that hard to do with the engine in the car.
I got the thermostat, valve cover gasket, water pump, axle seals (since the axles had to come out anyway), transmission input seal, rear main seal, front crank seal, timing cover gaskets, exhaust manifold gasket and donut gaskets, throttle body gasket (again, the throttle body had to be changed, so..), and a new serpentine belt. I didn't see anything that was obviously leaking on the motor other than the valve cover gasket.
