Any advice on what tools are best to get to the nuts under the "oil tower" on a 13B? Espescially the one closer to the firewall. Closed end wrench? Gear wrench? Go at it from underneath with a buch of extensions and universals?

Thanks, Ray

Where did you buy the o-rings? I have to do this job on my 13B as well.

Mazdatrix sells the o-rings.

I used a 10mm box-end wrench and a measure of manual dexterity.

Yes a box end wrench should be all you need.

Mazdatrix...they rock.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I guess I should change the heater hose...just in case it is damaged from the oil.

Can't I just use regular o-rings from the assortment at NAPA?

fornetti14, do you race your RX-7 at all? If you've raced at least twice a year, you are eligible for the Mazdaspeed Motorsports discount. Being able to get most OEM parts for discount part prices rules.

racer_ace, I'd replace the heater hose while you're in there, too. Replace it with an OEM hose if possible, since the parts store hoses don't stand up to the rotary's heat as well.
