My 1994 Miata needs to get sold. Ideas on what its worth?

1994 Miata M, with the cool montego blue, 150,000miles apx.

Stuff thats been done:

-All new suspension including Flyin Miata springs, Flyin Miata sway bars, Flyin Miata upper shock mounts, Tokico Illumias, 949 Racing Adj. Endlinks -All new brakes including new front calipers, pads, rotors, brake lines, and rear calipers, pads, and rotors. -New tires Kuhmo Solus HP4 -Flowmaster cat-back exhaust (replaced resonator) -New soft top, rain rail, and hardware -New clutch assembly, resurfaced flywheel, clutch slave cylinder and master cylinder -Motor replaced with a used motor (apx 60K on it) -LSD flushed and filled with Synthetic oil -New A/C condensor, dryer, etc. Needs a charge though. When the motor was replaced I went ahead and went crazy and replaced almost every gasket, seal, and replaced a bunch of stuff. I have a folder of receipts as proof. -New alternator, water pump, belt tensioner/ idler, belt, coolant hoses, fuel lines, thermostat, PCV valve, and the list goes on. This car has had so much wok done to it and its a blast. This car is also 15 years old, and there are some scratches/ nicks etc. Small rust amount on passenger side rocker panel. The car as you can see still looks great and turns heads everytime I take it out. The suspension upgrades make this such a treat to drive, its so much more responsive and it handles so amazingy. The interior is nice too. The black and tan is a great como. The seats have seen better days, but not bad and they are still presentable.

Ideas?

or if someone wants to PM me an offer?

I've been looking for another one to use as a cheap DD and to modify without worrying about SCCA rules and being (somewhat) competitive. I've seen cars comparable to yours listed on CL for $2500-3500, but they don't seem to be selling right now. I know its a rough time to sell convertibles, though.

I'll give you $1500 for it and stop by on my way back from Detroit and pick it up next weekend.

It's worth as much as someone is willing to pay...I'll top MiatarPowar's offer with $1600 this weekend

But seriously, put a price on it and the responses you get will let you know how realistic it is.

Edit: Just saw your autotrader ad. PS: love the Ford valve cover

If you can wait until spring, prices usually go up for convertibles. Other than that, I'm not much help. Prices vary by location. Heck, we'd probably pay $1500 for the car as a salvage donor so I'd peg it higher than that

You could list it on the FM website, that's a good place to sell modified Miatas. Stock ones, no. This one's probably modified enough to appeal to that audience.

That's good to know. I never noticed that you can list cars there.

In this part of the country, I'd say that's at least a $3000 car depending on how bad the rust is. Yes, it has high miles and some interior wear, but it's also an M and has a ton of new parts. It's modded, but only moderately and it doesn't have some stupid body kit on it. That may seem high to some of you Southerners who buy used Miatas out of vending machines, but I spent a lot of time shopping in the Michigan/Ohio area, and I saw a lot of cars not as nice as that one going for $3k and over.

Having said that, you will get more for it if you wait a couple of months.
