What's this Beetle worth?

A friend of mine recently contacted me about selling a VW Beetle. I used to be big into water cooled VW stuff, but never dabbled in air cooled.

Any ideas? Where would be a good place to list it?

Not shown is the engine sitting in the driver's seat. Supposedly everything is there, it just needs to be put back together. Word on the street is it used to pull the front wheels off the ground, but who knows?

No 1915cc ever pulled the wheels off the ground unless your missing the turbo in the listing.

The wheels and motor are worth something. car like that would bring 2K out here in SD if there was no rust and paperwork on the motor.
