Been having some trouble finding a set of wheel spacers that will work with my 300TD. I've bought two different sets - one a cheap generic eBay set and the other a nicer set from H&R - and both fit on the rear hubs just fine, but neither will fit over the front hubs. The problem seems to be that the front hubs have a slight taper to them and the spacers don't accommodate this.

Note that these are hub-centered wheels.

Does anyone have any experience with spacers that will fit the front of a W123? There's lots of options out there that claim to fit, but based on my 0% success rate so far, I'm looking for actual experience with spacers that have been tried and fit the front hubs. I need a set 20mm thick for the wheels I want to run.

I just completed the 20mm spacer challenge on my 300D and finally caved by having the centers of a perfectly good set cut out 2.550". They fit well but the hubcentric portion is oh-so-thin now. Have Fun!
