It looks like a piece of Link hardware for sure. Is it a LambdaLink? I don't remember them having duty cycle.

I must be older than you guys. This dates from March of 1978 and was in Car & Driver.
Gone to history.

We used Jacobs ignition units on TBI gm's and they were amazing. Open the gap on those r45ts Delco plugs to about .060 from the factory .035 and man... not only did they run stronger but overall fuel economy was about 15-20% increase. We used it in 3 different vehicles and they were all the same way. Always wondered what happened to them.

If you're ever looking to rehome those Quasars, let me know. :)
This is my second set. I let a set go back in the day and have always regretted it. They are staying with me. They currently carry my summer rubber for the Mazda 2. They were chrome, but need refinishing. And two of the enter cap retaining clips are bad. I need to find someone to 3d print some new ones for me.
TL/DR: sorry, not for sale.

Oh boy that brings back memories
Did a little more reminiscing in the shop tonight.
My buddy sent me a link to an eBay auction for one of these recently, I think it sold for over a grand

Wow, a G-Tech Pro. We have one around here somewhere.
I see that they still have a website. Are they still in business? Looks like everything went silent six years ago.
And anyone remember the TV spot? Lots of tire smoke.
That HKS mention brings back memories, in 1999 I bought a 1991 3kGT VR4 with ALL the HKS goodies. It was stupid fast and stable, it was just waiting between stuff breaking that sucked.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
I've got a G-tech pro as well as a G-Analyst. I need to put the latter in the CRX. You need one for the 911.
In reply to Keith Tanner :
We used to use a VC200 back in the day. Wonder if it's still around.
I have a 1984 radar detector in the 911 but, yeah, gotta measure that performance.
I assumed APC just rebranded to Spectre since they occupy the same space in the "performance" section of a FLAPS. Sort of like how 3rd party video game accessory manufacturers constantly rebrand once their old brand's reputation crumbles.

No hemming and hawing while poring over datalogs and doing a bunch of algebra to figure out if you need bigger injectors. Red light says YES.

Exactly.
I never had an elegant mount for it, though. It's hooked up but currently sitting beneath the passenger floor mat.
Amateurs! In the early 1980's, I had a real Datsun Competition Catalog. They had awesome stuff I drooled over, but stuck to the cheaper Datsun 1200 pages. Even more cool, they sold a book specifically on how to modify a 1200 for racing. Did many of the mods and yes they worked. Wish I'd have kept both publications.
In reply to kb58 :
I have over 20 different years of the Datsun/Nissan Competition Catalogs. This is my oldest one and I loaned the prior year out only to never see it again.
I think some of the rare parts are the posters they offered for sale - I rarely see these for sale or reprints.

Yes, a lot of memories in that one.
We live in the country with few houses around, and after dinner I might do a little wrenching then go out with my son to do some G-Tech runs as we'd call it

VTEC is to ,Yo as G-Tech is to: ,______
I had a G-tech pro for a few years, I believe it got re-homed in a previous "new years game" box. I never could get it to work worth a darn myself. I now feel the need to go dig in my stash of period catalogs and magazines now.
I remembering running a G-Tech at the drag strip. I think the times matched. (This was a hundred years ago.)
I need to look for ours.
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Did it account for the rollout before the timing beam started? I thought they didn't.
Would not matter much if you deep staged, but if you were like me and staged as early as humanly possible, the difference is a tenth or more. Which would be a good reason why it could be different
In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
I honestly can't remember. It was in my yellow CRX. I remember that. (This would have been mid '90s.)
