FWIW, I would be very interested in purchasing it as a project. I've always wanted to build a 911 and yours sound like a great starting point.
The buzzards are already circling! Better buy some rally tires and lifted springs STAT!
I want a pic of dual roostertails by mid-april.

Also, host a build party. It's amazing what a group of challengers can get done in a day, with a full weekend + a friday or monday 'sick' day I bet we could assemble an entire 911.
I have a lot of frequent flier miles....

First off, you should turn it into exactly what you want. If you have the means, find a good shop and pay them to do it, that way you can enjoy it as quickly as possible.
Secondly, if you do decide to sell it, I'll buy it. Just send me a PM and we'll do the deal.

LOL....maybe I'll just load it and all parts and drag it to challenge for a parking lot build.

Did you just call me a buzzard!? I'll have you know I would give that 911 a very good home

You should go over to Pelican Parts, find some guys that live in your general vicinity and have them help you finish it.

Only in the most endearing sense of the word. You're probably not on this board if you can read the first post of this thread and not think to yourself "maybe I could use that 911" even if only for a moment :P
I'm just sitting here looking for an excuse to drive to Mississippi and wrench.
In reply to mazdeuce - Seth :
I was telling him yesterday to set a date & I'll drive up to help him wrench on it and/or the Vette, so why not make it a GRM party!
Can I do a sawzall lift on it like I do my trucks?
How far are you from San Antonio?
Only here. When a thread goes from "Should I sell my 911?" to "We'll get together with you and build the Baja 911 you always wanted. "
Jim, Get the one that is already Caged on the for sale Thread. If Michael come's there he can stop and pick up this 84 Corvette engine and Me too. Yupididit... it will be close after you get to Dallas, he's in NW Mississippi I Think. I also don't think he will ask for Help!
I'll echo that you should build it rally style because that is what you want.
And I'd list all the stuff that you'd want to do and figure out which you'd want to do and what you could/should farm out.
Maybe you farm out the motor build while you do the suspension and interior. Or you build the motor while the body shop paints it.
Jobs like putting on new brakes, wheels, control arms, etc are easy to delegate if you have a little work party.

I feel there is a bit of pot calling the kettle something going on here

I hate to admit.
.just need to get off my lazy arse. Engine and transmission already built. Just need to install. Rear suspension done. Just need to install new front suspension components. Need to order and install rs door cards and carpets/rear seat delete. Have Das sport bar just needs to be installed. Really just need to do minor reassembly and I could be driving in a matter of a month.
Get some guys together and knock that rally porsha out

Buzzard? Sure. Why not. I can own that.
What happens when you park project outside and a tree falls due to saturated ground. Fortunately very minor ding on roof and a busted rear window
