Whereas most people will have a project car for sale plus one or two parts cars, this seller is offering a collection of 35 Honda CRXs–and no, that’s not a typo.
At least 25 of the cars are said to run, but does that really matter when you have over 30 of the same car to pick from?
The seller …

Dibs on Barbados Yellow! Y49 FTW. :)
And the first car in the video in the ad is a Jag 3.8S!
Sorry, I'm actually in the market for 36 Honda CRXs.
Good luck with the sale.

I think that counts as 'automotive stuttering'. Once you have one of every variant, further collecting is an obsession rather than a hobby! I've seen several people do the same thing and quite often they didn't restore or use them, the ownership was enough for them....
Even a Miata and Fox body in that mix...
In reply to wspohn :
Or hoarding? I’ve collected things over the years–comics, guitars, die-cast cars, etc.–but there has to be a reason for each item. It can’t just be grab ’em all or it would get out of control.
$60k for the lot is an absolute steal, I would buy them now and resell all of them (well, maybe minus one or two) individually on BaT if I had the money...and space...

If they are truly willing to sell them they may not be a hoarder. Hoarders usually won't sell a big batch like that.
New spec challenge class. You buy a randomly selected CRX and have a remaining $285.71 in budget.
Throw in a wheel to wheel endurance event for 2 hours or so.
I'm willing to let everyone else fight over the Si's.
The most fun I've ever had driving a CRX was in a new silver 1989 DX five speed. No sunroof, just a radio, A/C and 13" Dunlops on steelies. That car felt like it was 500 pounds lighter than my Si.
I'd buy a good one in a heartbeat.
I just looked those up in BaT, and one in good condition (even with some miles on them) seem to pull around $15,000.
My sister has a pretty nice one (red) that she was thinking of selling (been in a garage/barn for many years), and I wanted to warn her they may be worth more than she thinks.
That's $1,714 a piece.
Well within challenge budget.
Just saying.
Already sold. That was quick.
Wow. I knew people did this with 2002s and older BMWs, but wow, 35 CRXs!
Surprised it took that long!
maybe they went to some new age artist who will weld them together in one giant stack. Then start them all up
Hell of a start to a parting out business.
Almost bought an SI way back when...kinda wish I had now. Just couldnt quite make the deal happen. Of course given that it was Billy Craft Honda that had the car explains a lot about why the deal didnt quite fly...he was a crook.
