Love the bike. I once rode the very similar Vulcan 1500, which was kind of a naked Nomad (from those years) and thought that it would be a great bike for a trip out west.
Back when I got my Honda Shadow ACE 750 the reason the former owner was selling was because he had replaced it with a Nomad. He said that one multi-state trip was all it took to realize he needed more bike than the Shadow.
