2021 first quarter resolutions !

everyone does New Years resolutions , but thats a long time away until December  , 

so lets try smaller bites and do First Quarter resolutions  which hopefully will get done !

So here are a few of mine , 

Get  the G-code  machines working !   G-code is what makes CNC machines do stuff , 

So I have a Desktop CNC machine that I need to change the motors on , not a big thing , but then make a control box , 

Then there is the Big Blue box with the laser in it , that I bought used and never tried to get running ,  

And the 3 or 4  3D printers that  are sitting that were returns and no idea why , If they do not get working I will buy an Ender  3D printer  in April.

Last thing  is getting my Small block Chevy in the Kit car running , it has sat for 20 plus years so I need to pull plugs and oil it up , well really the first thing is get it out of storage !

and lastly get the Fiat 600 running , it fired up about 5 years ago and then I got distracted , probably by Donuts !

Anyway here is the place to put your First Quarter to do list  and then make excuses in 3 months :)

I've resolved to not have resolutions.

And I've already failed...

Same as every year:

I'm going to stop being so nice to people.

Get to 199lbs by February 28.

That should be doable. 13 pounds in 8 weeks.

I gave up resolutions for Lent back in '96!

Actually, I think this is a neat idea.  This is more goal-setting than a vague resolution.

1. Finish the tile installation
2. Begin the rust repair on the Miata by cutting out the section and determining how far I need to go
3. Get some oil from the RV sent in for analysis
4. Build the shelves that my wife wants for the kitchen

Declutter 

I'm gonna give up watermelon for the first quarter

Sell or keep my Suburban.  Eventually.  Maybe.

Develop a product I can license to a manufacturer and collect at least 1 royalty check. (I came up with one today in the pets space.  I like it.  Now to pitch it. We'll see)

Embrace and hopefully be competent with the 2 new printer lines our company is starting to deliver.

Love and be present in my household, not just posted at my computer.
