Thanks ya'll. It is feeling like it is going to be a long one. I have had about 2 hours sleep in the last 30 hours or so. Thankfully she has had a bit more sleep than me. Basically I got home from might night shift and she woke up and things were starting up.

Alright mid afternoon update. Epidural is in and mommy to be is napping at the moment. The nurses sent me home to try and catch a nap myself. Instead I will be eating some lunch (first thing today) making calls and maybe take a quick shower to freshen up and wake myself up. They are thinking only a few more hours.

also.. same thing happened with my wife... Labor started... then stalled as she fought the pain. Epidural went in and I was holding a baby within an hour or two.
