Charlotte May was dragged in to the world against her will yesterday morning at 10:12am
Mom and baby are doing fine, and this proud papa is in love in a way I didn't even know was possible.

Congradulations!
Fatherhood is the single scariest, world berkeleying, rewarding and fun thing I've ever done. Enjoy it.

nailed it. Congrats man, your life will never be the same
Awesome. New babies are so cool. It doesn't take very many years until they're too big to want to curl up in your arms and fall asleep. Enjoy it.
Congrats!
Enjoy this time, the "lay-them-on-a-blanket-and-they-stay-put" phase is just the best.
And get lots of sleep, this goes more for mom than for you but still. Sleep.
Great work. Congrats. Always remember: if she's crying, she needs something. It may be gas or food or a clean diaper, but she's not likely to stop unless you figure out the need. A crying baby can make you insane when you're tired and frustrated, never forget how fragile they are. I think you're in AK and probably far from help, but take it when it's offered. Good luck!
Congrats!! you're right, everything will be different for the better. Except your sleep schedule and how your house smells, which will now occasionally smell like a toxic waste dump. (Disclaimer- diapers aren't that bad) Also being "in love in a way I didn't even know was possible" is just the start. Wait until she starts walking around, reaching up to get picked up, and saying "dada!" If that doesn't make your heart melt, nothing will.
The feminine mystique at work, she already owns you . You now have a timepiece that runs fast. My kids were that big two months ago and now they are out of college. Well done sir.
Cool! My biggest baby advice is to feed them a lot, especially in the evening.. Our first kid didn't sleep well at all, but we would always say "she can't be hungry now, she just ate a half hour ago!" Then we learned about cluster feeding and our next two slept way better..
We're figuring that out now I think maybe. Just keep feeding her until she gives up the nip and goes to sleep. If she gets fussy it's either gas or poop. We fortunately have 3 of our 4 parents local to help guide us and several friends with newborns this year.
Right now though I just want to hold her all the time. It's the best thing ever when she snuggles up on me. She's so soft! And warm! And mine!
i've got my first one coming at the end of May... already trying to figure out ways to corrupt an innocent child with a love of all things internal combustion and heavy metal...
