Which ones are sour and crisp?
Those are the ticket!
Grapples are tastey.

Ha! You know, I came back from lunch and saw your popcorn topic, and my first reaction was a weird competitive feeling.
Going there now to check it out.

You should try coming to one of the apple producing states... There are SO many variaties of one color, and it's hard to tell them apart.
But it's pretty cool to go to a apple orchard and pick directly from the tree...

You know what really sucks? Not being able to eat apples anymore. I'm berkeleying allergic to them now! If I eat them, the skin that contacted the juice swells and my throat threatens to close, etc. Not really an issue as long as I avoid them, except I live in Oregon and apples are everywhere and pretty much in every fruit salad during the apple season. AAAAARRRRRGH! I want to eat some apples!
I like Red Delicious. Except at our school, they are NASTY. I haven't had real fruit in so long. I eat a lot of fruit. I'm just not sure what it actually is.
imagine a new reader coming along and wondering what was going on here..........I thought those guys were into cars and racig?
Granny Smiths are good, but I love a good Pear.
It is the underrated fruit, kinda like a mentally disabled apple.
I like the Pink Lady. I lurve the Honey Crisp. We have more than a couple cider mills and orchards around these parts, and the variety of apples is almost embarrassing. You just get lost. I also like Fuji, but that's a bit more staid.
Seriously, get some small Honey Crisps, you can't go wrong for a lunchtime apple.
And pluots, I agree. WTF are they? I can't choose mushy fruit, they're always too hard or too mushy.
Fujis and Braeburns are awesome.
Braeburns (like Fujis) are really firm and don't bruise much at all. They have a "pear-like" flavor.
Apples are my #1 fruit.

Despite the close phonetic relation my first name has to the fruit, I actually dislike them in 'raw' form. I like them when they're canned or sliced, but really dislike how they fall apart when you try to eat them.
