Saw a banner ad on another site for the Nissan Sentra, promising that it delivers "more songs per mile." Does that mean that it takes longer to cover a mile, so as to give more time to play the songs, or that its stereo plays the songs back too fast?
It will only play the Ramones.
I'd guess they meant, "Songs per gallon". Which still is pretty stupid but does make a bit more sense...

Please. Judging Nissan lately, all it plays is John Denver or Starland Vocal Band at earsplitting levels.
Nothing is much worse than Honda singing about how "sad" the world is today.

that would be pretty cool
"This is a Chevy!?"
(Yes because we like to advertise that normally we make total crap, but THIS car is actually nice! )
[troll]Since I got rid of my television, I don't have to worry about stupid car commercials on Netflix![/troll]

I think he's referring to the fact that every Ramones song was only about 90 seconds long.
One, two, three, four....
If the radio is the most exciting part of a car, I'm not interested...
ninja edit....

What Toyota commercial did you see?

Would buy that car ASAP, problem is it would be driven aggressively everywhere, all day.

Oh. I meant how every Nissan product makes you want to kill yourself...just like when you hear John Denver.

No, Yaris, its a car! was some of the best advertising since VW in the 60s and 70s.

Or M.O.D.
they can play 9 songs in 15 seconds. Or was that S.O.D.?
There was an add recently here that cracked my son and I up. Something about them being fair and honest, with the immediate disclaimer that this is a limited time offer and would end soon.
And someone is getting paid to come up with this stuff.
Hagerty Insurance just sent me some paperwork that included this gem:
"We do not disclose any non public information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law"
In other words, if we're allowed, we'll share it!
I'm pretty sure it's a Buick ad that I'm always laughing at- the one with lots of people trying to find the cars but totally overlooking them because they don't look like what the people are expecting. What was the original pitch there? "Our cars have always been behind the times and looked like only the elderly would drive them, but we finally got a clue!"???

+1---- that commercial has been playing non-stop and I can't stand it.
"Engineering Fast Cars" really? They consider the new Civic fast? and if I see another goofy hipster trying to convince me how "cool" their beard is I'm buying a razor and going on a involuntary shaving rampage!
