+1---- that commercial has been playing non-stop and I can't stand it.
"Engineering Fast Cars" really? They consider the new Civic fast? and if I see another goofy hipster trying to convince me how "cool" their beard is I'm buying a razor and going on a involuntary shaving rampage!
I support your rampage and am ready to contribute to your legal defense fund

Not familiar with that but I submit this
I want to put a gag on Jan from Toyota...and not in the kinky way.
Joe, just don't go too far down the Sweeney Todd path...

Oh God! I just remembered that this is the ad that Honda runs at the same time the Lexus "December to remember" ads run. That one deserves its own special hellish mention.

That ad should only have been run exactly once and never shown again.

Hagerty Insurance just sent me some paperwork that included this gem:

In other words, if we're allowed, we'll share it!
This reminds me of the protein powder I use that says "Contains no illegal substances!" on the side.
Car ads are universally stupid. Every one has the idiotic disclaimer "professional driver on a closed course, do not attempt."
Well who the berk is buying your car??!
Either it's obvious (Nissan Rogue driving atop a train) that regular drivers shouldn't try such stupidity. Or it's clearly a car being driven in a perfectly ordinary way (Buicks) why say it's a closed course? Stupid and insulting to consumers.

I dunno, that's actually a pretty reasonable statement for a protein powder. It wouldn't surprise me to hear that some of them were pushing the limits a bit.
The "closed course" thing irks me too. Still, I'd rather watch car ads than drug ads. One of the ones on Hulu right now for some sort of ADD medication has the following disclaimer:
"People who have taken (I forget the name) have reported the following side effects: sudden death..."
