It seems that every brand of truck is best in class.

Must be with all of the models and options it is easy to have a class to be best in.

JD Powers will sell you whatever you want to buy.

Honestly, when I worked for ATT Wireless back on the days before Cingular, we won some JD Powers BS award, however, since we wouldn't pay JD Powers for the rights to use the "marketing" we couldn't run it in our advertising.

Best in class.

Class of one. Or best in class in a class that only has one manufacturer in it.

Convenient.

Unrelated: I keep seeing Mitsubishi commercials hawking the Eclipse Cross thing. They focus on the crisp lines and styling since they cannot compete on any other metric (except transaction price-nobody with a pulse should pay anywhere close to MSRP.)

Marketing is a funny industry.

Its the brand new Ford F-150.

Brand new?

Hasn't Ford been around for over 100 years?

That hardly qualifies as a new brand.

In marketing, classes are granular enough that almost everything can be best in class.
