What's with all the links that just say "Broke" when you click on them?
the one thread I saw do it had page numbers that weren't valid. It showed 12 pages on the forum page but when you actually looked at the thread it only had 9 pages.
The forum software is very powerful. It knows it's own limitations. Counting is one of those limitations.
I think that a change has been made in the number of posts displayed per page, which has condensed threads to fewer pages but has left behind some dead page links on the main forum pages. I don't have confirmation in that theory, but it appears that no content is missing
Hmmm, we'll check it tomorrow but, yes, we put more threads on each forum page. Why? We figured that would make it easier to keep the conversations going.
Not a huge issue on most of the threads, just click back a page number, but the Grosh thread says it's 83 pages long and none of the recent page links work. If I wasnt so tired I'd do some math and figure out where it works again.

Someone wasn't expecting that would ever change when rendering all the navigation. DOH!

Excellent! Flipping through the pages gets tiresome on long threads.

Yeah, I would guess the menu rendering code and the page rendering code each had their own copy of the constant for # of posts per page, and when one of them was updated the other one was missed, so the two are now out of sync.

But but but.... We were soooo close to 3270! I was gonna go all "post"-al about my old IBM mainframe days. sigh
