I love the JPS and the Gulf but for a nautical application I think these colors would work better.

The Gulf blue sure stands out better..... I'd say Blue. That is what I am doing for my $2012 Challenge bid.

The other 2 "ships" in our "series (my FIL and my nephew) are Martini -esque (supposed to also be rRed white and blue as a patriotic theme) and the other is a general lee theme...I though JPS would be a great option, but then Gulf always looks good on anything...a distant third would be Bianchi seafoam green and black

As much as I like Celeste Green, I think the Gulf colors are the way to go. JPS might be hard to see at a distance depending on your water conditions.
