OK, that is too funny, my pinto (brown, black with no rear hatch) is in the background. I was at that show and talked to that guy for quite a while.

There was one for sale in Toronto a few months ago.
If I didn't think parts would be a complete bitch to get, I would have bought it.
So today, for the first time, I tune into this thread expecting discussion on hot linking pictures. I hit the button to find the latest posts, and find a bunch of pictures of Honda Beat's, the croc guy, and the White House being lowered into the ocean up side down. I'm now going back to reality.
And why does it say the thread was started by Jeff Harbert but the first post is by Mr. Joshua? Huh? Huh???

That was discussed about 20 pages back. I think this is the coolest thread I have read in years.
The original post was from a site user named Jeff. He has since disassociated himself from this thread by deleting the original post, but other parts of the discussion are included in the first few pages.
Other forum users have decided they really like hotlinking pictures. Consider it viral growth.

Don't start reading this, then:
Pelican Parts Random Pics Thread
I've been following this for six or seven years. I started on page one.
Edit: forgot to hotlink:
Me, in the Locost. My son -- the short one :). Crimson, leaning on roll bar (primary builder of said Locost), and an unknown dude.
Hotlinked, for awesomness, from the Pelican thread.
I will be flicking through the PP thread for the next half an hour or so, now. There's just no way around that.
