MAVERICK!!!
Local hobby shop has one of these, for $220.
I assume you mean the 1/12 scale for that price, not the 1/20th pictured. Back in the 80's as a kid I built both the P34 and the Wolf 1/12 scale kits. They're probably in a landfill somewhere in Norther England these days, I wish I still had them.

The poster's no good, Han Solo is missing for the awesome win.

Up until about 9th grade, I had delusions of making it to Annapolis and becoming a Navel fighter pilot. The F-14 was retired right as I would have begun flight school.
My grandfather built them when he worked for Grumman, along with the Lunar Lander.
I got to meet him and play a round of mini golf once with Fred Haise (Lunar Module Pilot, Apollo 13). He was a cool guy, and did wear his "Why yes, I am a rocket scientist" tee shirt that day. No one else realized who he really was.

F4 Phantom was my all-time favorite jet growing up. I built probably 5 different plastic models of them.

Meh, we had a F18 at the front gate of my old air station, MCAS Beaufort, and it was still active duty. All the previous aircraft that had been stationed there were also on display. The A4 display is actually inside the gate.
Man, I really miss being on base.
