I use a hoist similar to these daily, never had an issue, wont hesitate to get under and pull a trans or diff pot

1953 - 1955 Corvette. They were mostly six cylinder automatics. Chevy came out with V8s in '55.

I'm pretty sure that's Tony Tesaro's custom ZR1 powered '54 Corvette. It was in Hot Rod a little while back.

The photos scale was throwing my off a bit I thought it was a replica on another chassis. The front end de-chrome is a little odd as well. I like it.
