I enlarged the picture and saw "Ardun". First glance I thought it was a flathead Ford in a T series MG. Then I saw Ardun, the brake didn't look right, the trailing links under the fender didn't look right, the grill didn't look quite right, so I think your right about the engine but not sure about the chassis yet.
