I always thought this was the solution for having a tiny car and needing to go on trips in it.
Or just take less E36 M3, but what is the fun in that?
Works for a smart/Miata/IQ/500/Cooper/Solstace/Z4/Spitfire etc. Even a Suburban after my wife packs it for a 3 day weekend at her mom's house for her and the two kids.

Are we going to revisit the BAM road thread on ADVrider? Very cool thread and a great way to kill some time.

Had some fun in Wisconsin today!
Some were much better equipped.
The drive home had a killer sunset over the Mississippi too!

When it comes to endurance racing very few can match the story of George Waltman. George and his Morgan Plus 4 (see photo) were entered in the 1968 Daytona 24 Hours. George ran the entire race without benefit of a co-driver. He was forced by FIA rules to take a one hour rest break every three on the track but he still managed to finish the race and in 30th place. The Jerry Thompson/Tony DeLorenzo Corvette in the photo finished 27th overall. Now for the amazing part of the story. George had no pit crew, he did it all. Not only that, he drove his Morgan down from his home in New York, raced the car, and then drove it back home. An amazing man and a Daytona legend.
