First car, 68 Malibu
Like this but oxidized dark grey metallic. Similar "patina" to the pic though.
I loved that thing. Dry rotted tires made school parking lot hoonage a lot more audible and acres of room in the back.
My first car was '86 CRX HF just like this one. I wish I knew how cool that car was when I had it (and before I destroyed it).
Mine was like this. Except that is had more character...like a hole in the floor, couldn't drive through puddles without stalling, a bad window regulator, and master cylinder that had seen better days, etc.
Mine was a nice multi-colored gray primer. Had it for five years and drove it for less then 1000 miles.
Stock except for GM chrome kit for the engine, Hypertech Chip, and some power adding decals. Not the fastest thing out there but there was room for everyone, no matter how big their hair. Now it is a home to mold and dust until I find time to bring it up here.

Wow... black 61 Anglia. Don't see those every day.
First car was one of these:
Dark green with a white stripe, 200 six banger and three on the tree. Had 2 chrome steelies and two stock steelies, I managed to come up with enough money for some 4 spoke ET mags.
First sports car:
right down to the color.
1968 was the first year for the 'high' bumpers on Spitfires and the last year for the center mounted speedo and tach, also the only year with twin SUs and dual intake port head. '62- '67 had single (siamesed) intake port heads with twin SU's. '69-up had dual port heads but a single Stromberg in the US market (smog stuff). Mine had different wheel covers and no whitewalls but otherwise identical right down to the white piping on the seats.
1967 Plymouth Belvedere II hardtop. Not my car in the crappy photo, though mine was the same color and subjected to comparable hoonage.
My grandfather bought it new. It's long gone, but I miss it more than any other car I've owned.
Technically my first car was an '80 Chevette Scooter 2-door 4-speed death trap. Similar to this one but nowhere near as nice.
What I consider as my first car was a '78 Malibu Classic. A great sleeper in the late '80's. They didn't get the respect they do now. Back then it was just a late '70's car that wasn't available as an SS when it was new so nobody gave it a second look.
Mine started out very similar to this one:

I've always thought a Pro-touring style G-body had potential, with lots of attention paid to suspension and brakes.
First (not mine, just found it but identical) I miss it
Second (and current):
Third (shouldnt have sold it...):
Fourth: Dont have a pic!
Fifth:
Sixth: Newest dd. 1996 civic sedan. No pic
