I think I screwed up the link to the photos I took of the Air and Space Museum on the last page.
We decided we're getting the boy-spawn a guitar for Xmas. So, we took him to see The Rev. Horton Heat's Holiday Hay Ride, featuring The Blasters, Junior Brown and The Rev. Horton Heat on a school night. You know, to reinforce his interest in music, and to teach him that going to a show on a school/work night might be amazing, but you will suffer for it the next day.
Then this happened:
Yep. They took him up on stage and let him play bass under the instruction of Jimbo, while Big Sandy belted out some tunes with the band.
I know he won't ever forget it. He may never sleep again. The guitar might seem anti-climactic now.
