Hmmmm. I dunno.
I've blown up a LOT of U-Joints in my day and seen a lot of trailers that have been very neglected in the maintenance department making me think that not everybody would take the time to service and inspect one of these regularly.
That hitch does look like it would work nice and smooth IF properly maintained, but that's a LOT of moving parts and possible points for failure.
Not sold on the idea just yet.
The only Bonzo that matters is Steve Wittman's.

This is what usually (or hopefully) happens, they get thrown. Common phrase among karters is there are two types of drivers. Those who have flipped and those who haven't flipped yet....

Oof. That looks like some distance from "thrown clear." I'm reminded of a line from "Life, the Universe, and Everything":
"So we're not home and dry," he said
"We could not even be said," replied Ford, "to be home and vigorously toweling ourselves off."

Having been in a vehicle that had the trailer pop off the ball, ... so?
Can U-joints be captured? I suppose not, if they are replaceable...

That's the only thing that prevents me from Karting. I don't mind doing it on a bike or in a car but not like that
A perfect screensaver and piece of art whether standing still or at 200mph.
