Here's another boating photo. One of my nurses took this while returning to the inlet from a day offshore. The summer weather pattern here is for storms to build over the land during the day.
They're heading right into it.

This one is actually Chinese, not Soviet. For some reason it seems when their vehicles are in parades they often have whitewall tires. I can only assume that the week before the event involves a lot of tires being remounted with them facing out, then turned back around afterward. Some sort of tire drill for their reservists to do.
