^Corvair with the confusingly routed belt. The belt is driven from the crank at the back of the engine, turns 90 degrees on the alternator (generator?) on the left and something else (just an idler?) on the right, then runs the fan on top.
Most Corvair guys carry a spare belt, because a broken bet is a quick way to overheat the heads and start dropping out valve guides
