It's my dad's boat. He started work on it in 1989. It took 20 years to complete. It has been in the water for 10 years now. He originally had a 300hp motor for it, but it sat in the crate for several years before he sold it. The center console has room for a portable crapper in it.

I remember the 300 horse v8 outboards from OMC. It was a pretty ambitious project that apparently didn't really turn out to be a reliable outboard. It's a shame, I had a lot of brand loyalty for their products.
I've owned six boats and and have been heavily into fishing all of my life, but really tailed off the last few years. Thanks to this website, all my focus is on autocross, and am I ever having fun!
I only have my original one now, bought this in about 1975. This is after the last hurricane. I flipped it upright so it would fill with water and not blow away.
