It's supposed to be Mångata, not Mangata. Mångata means "Moon road" while Mangata becomes man road.
I found this bike in poor stock form and bought it for $200. Intention was to restore, sell and make a small symbolic profit. I did just that: Chopped the frame, painted everything myself, went thru it top to bottom... and now I kind of miss it.

This is mine. Same deal only it was leaning against a tree with the word free scribbled on a piece of cardboard. No exhaust, no seat, bad tires and mismatched rims. With the help of a parts bike, eBay, and the local Kawasaki dealer it's almost ready for the road.

When I was a kid there was a hardware store in my village. The owner had a beetle with a 911 style body kit on. Kind of like this one, but with the accordion style short hood bumpers. IT was also white, but rather than the 'PORSCHE' script along the side I think it had some thin BRUMOS style stripes, which was unusual for the UK, maybe it was Martini stripes. It was 40 years ago, but too a 10 year old me it was freeking cool.
