If I opened that door, I'd be noping my way out of there SO fast! wow.
"Well, there's your problem."
"The snake?"
"No. all that shotgun damage."
EDIT: honestly, from that angle it looks like it could be nonvenomous. I also don't think my reactions would be slow enough that fact would save it.

It is a gopher snake. Non venonomous but it is heart attack inducing.

I think I'm in love....
One of Nao Tomii's builds for this year's NAHBS that didn't happen. I love the details of how the custom bags matches the paint and the lines of the bike. Full details, worth looking at : https://theradavist.com/2020/05/tomii-cycles-showcase-kevins-gravel-packer/
BTW...I looked for the Grassroots Pedal Sports thread and couldn't find it anywhere? Not with Google, not with site search... Did it get deleted somehow or is my search-fu failing me?
I really liked this frame (but hate the wheels, stem and seatpost).

Fun fact: the spire on the top of the Empire State Building was originally intended as an airship dock.

Ahhh, the USS Los Angeles nosie. That thing is over 2 football fields long. Everybody within line of sight must have been crapping a whale when this happened.
There were 20 or 25 people on board when she did that, but no real injuries and no real damage.
I opted to replace the main bearings in my 2.4 block.
Not the rod bearings though, they still look good, and are $40/hole.
