Um...... what WAS that.......?

C4 Corvette. I don't hate it... a little rough around the edges, but I dig the tail lamp panel!

The dashboard and steering wheel are the giveaway. It was a C4 Vette. Now it's some sort of awesome cyberpunk car.
I so much love Soviet stuff. It's like they would do anything just for its own sake, not just for the glory of the heroic worker peoples.
150 litre, V-12, 2-stroke diesel electric locomotive plunked on top of a 12-wheel, AWD / AWS missle launcher chassis.

We've done several complex and/or expensive family vacations but just sitting for an hour quietly watching the bison graze in Yellowstone; Best. Memory. Evarrr.

I am having nightmares of what the linkage looks like and how it acts when it gets sloppy.
Had a dream where I was working on a four speed C3 and the shifter was on the left like a pushbutton Mopar, and I was messing with the three linkage rods that went behind the instrument cluster to a transfer box in the middle of the dash that then went down to the trans. It was all 60s GM bent rods and those weird shift rod clips and everything was as sloppy as you'd expect and the rods kept binding on each other.
Wonder if it's a Hi-Low thing like the old Dodge Colt or it engages different rear end gears?
In the mean time .....
NMNA, thank goodness. "Jeep Dj5 rat".

That's very nicely done, but what a horrific car to have started with. I owned one (rather, then-future-DW did) and it was just terrible in every way.

Not surprisingly, that was the car that the future Mrs. P was also driving. And despite my contempt for the FoMoCo, I have to admit that it was a good car and treated us very well
It did not look like this one, however

That's a Mustang with a funny looking body. I presume it had 200 storming inches of inline 6 to make it tragically slow, but that's all fixable.

Heh, that’s the guy who just deleted all the pictures and information from his build thread in builds and project cars. It seems we were not keeping the thread at the top with our comments as he thought we should and were deemed to be not worthy.
